Darlene Cooper and Wild Blue Herons Return to the Groove with "It’s All About Love"

PORT MOODY, BC – Following the intimate success of 2021’s You & I, acclaimed vocalist and educator Darlene Cooper and co-writer/arranger Bill Sample have released their most ambitious project to date: It’s All About Love.

Steeped in the traditions of R&B, Funk, and Jazz, the new album features a full band and a soaring horn section, perfectly complementing Cooper’s "rich, stunning vocals" (Tom Haugen). As a 2026 Grammy nominee Laila Biali notes, Cooper’s voice has the unique power to "stir hearts and set feet to dancing." This release marks a high point for Cooper, who has spent over a decade influencing the Vancouver music scene as a performer, choral director, and educator.
